Paul Helm's Blog

Paul Helm is a Calvinist theologian and Teaching Fellow at Regent College in Canada since 2005. Helm is also a professor at Highland Theological College since 2007. He was the J.I. Packer Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Regent College from 2001-2005. Prior to these positions, Helm was Professor of the History and Philosophy of Religion, King's College, London, from 1993-2000. Helm earned his BA and MA from Oxford.[1]

Helm's blog is not your typical blog. His blogs are lengthy and substantive covering many subjects under the heading philosophical theology. Read, think, and enjoy: http://paulhelmsdeep.blogspot.com/

MacArthur's Sermons Available Online

I was not sure if everyone knew this or not. John MacArthur's sermons are available online at http://www.gty.org/Resources/Sermons. You can read, listen, download, and purchase his sermons. This is an excellent biblical resource.

Blogging the Institutes

I know we are behind on this, but I just found out that the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals is blogging the Institutes. They have a reading for each day and a blog from various writers summarizing the reading. The blogs are good reading on their own.

You can find this blog either by following the link to the right for the Alliance blog or start on todays reading here http://www.reformation21.org/calvin/2009/04/blog-76-21110-21114.php.

New Reformed Search Engine

Just wanted to make everyone aware of a new internet resource. This link was just sent to me, and I haven't fully investigated it (nor am I sure how it exactly works). Essentially it appears to be an internet search engine specifically for all things "Reformed".

Use and enjoy!

Resources from the Gospel Coalition

The Gospel Coalition has made available several hundred sermons, conference lectures, interviews, and articles by dozens of conservative Evangelical pastors and scholars. Many are names familiar to us all (Carson, Duncan, Piper, Dever, Driscoll, Lutzer, Begg, etc), and many were completely new to me. The sermons are indexed both by topic and scripture reference. They are also downloadable (for you ipod guys).
